What Kästle says about the MX84
“The MX84 is certainly Kästle's most versatile all-mountain ski. Its innovative sidecut, the new designed HOLLOWTECH EVO and the race-inspired classic sandwich construction turn it into the perfect companion, on and off piste.
This is a powerful piste ski that also tackles the toughest backcountry conditions with supreme precision.“— Kästle
Flex Pattern
Here’s how we’d characterize the flex pattern of the MX84:
Tips: 5.5-6
Shovels: 6.5-8
In Front of Toe Piece: 8.5-10
Underfoot: 10
Behind the Heel Piece: 10-9
Tails: 9
The rear two-thirds of the MX84 are quite stiff, but the front one-third is quite a bit softer, particularly the hollowed-out portion of the ski’s shovel.
