Located in our hometown of Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado, the Blister Summit is a one-of-a-kind event in the snowsports world. And we’re so excited to bring it back for its fifth year, from February 23–27, 2025.
The Blister Summit brings the hottest and most important brands in the snowsports world — and anyone who wants to join — to Mt. Crested Butte, CO, every February to demo gear, participate in nightly panel sessions with industry leaders, explore the backcountry with professional guides, and more. The Summit is open to the public and we invite all intermediate to expert skiers and snowboarders to join us.
At the Summit, you can: test next season’s skis, snowboards (solids & splits), ski boots, apparel, and avalanche safety gear in the backcountry and on-resort; talk to company founders; ski / ride with professional athletes and Blister reviewers; learn from designers and innovators in nightly panel sessions; make some new buddies; and have a great time.
To learn more about what the Summit is and what makes it so special, check out what attendees and athletes had to say at Blister Summit 2024 in the video above!
“The Blister Summit does a great job of bringing 3 pillars of the industry together that don’t often overlap at the same time: the public, the brands, and athletes. I really appreciate the way Blister brings everyone together as a unified ski community. Everyone is accessible, friendly, and passionate about having fun on snow."

What does it mean demo? I’m renting skis. Would I be able to get demo rentals? What does it mean to “ride” with ?
Demo skis, boots, snowboards, goggles, packs, and more will be available to Summit attendees on February 24, 25, 26, and 27. On those days, you will not need to have your own skis or other rental skis because there will be plenty of skis for all attendees to try.
When we say “ski / ride with,” we mean that Summit attendees can meet up with groups of attendees, athletes, product designers, etc, in the vendor village and then head to the lift to go skiing and snowboarding together. Group meetups happen throughout the day, and there are groups for intermediate to expert-level skiers and snowboarders.
Do you need a lift ticket to the resort as well?
Hi Dustin! Yes, you do need lift tickets to Crested Butte Mountain Resort. They are not included in the cost of registration.
Thanks, Kristen! How many resort days and how many backcountry days? Backcountry set at Irwin or just with their guides and TBD locale on conditions?
The backcountry tours are half-day tours with Irwin guides — not with their cat skiing operation. Tours will be in the Snodgrass area.
