What 1000 Skis says about the Carve:
“This is our carving ski. Inspired by the dynamic world of free skiing and made for groomed slopes and sporadic off-piste adventures. Featuring a 93mm waist and a 15m turning radius at 175cm.”
—1000 Skis
Flex Pattern
Here’s how we’d characterize the flex pattern of the Carve:
Tips: 5.5-6
Shovels: 6-7
In Front of Toe Piece: 7.5-9.5
Underfoot: 10
Behind the Heel Piece: 9.5-7
Tails: 6.5-5.5
Overall, this is a pretty easy ski to bend. There’s a slow and smooth ramp-up in stiffness as you move from the tips or tails to the middle of the ski, but the overall flex pattern feels quite accessible and symmetrical.
