So … my head is basically spinning right now. But I’m trying to pull it together to write a few coherent sentences. Because this is the craziest shit I’ve ever seen.

Ten Steps:

Nothing terribly strange here. Honestly, the strangest thing is just how narrow the tips / shovels of this all-mountain ski are — they kind of look like wide mogul skis.

Holy crap. The Endurance 98 is a very light ski. Like, lighter than two of our all-time favorite touring skis (4FRNT Raven & Line Sick Day Tourist 102).

And way lighter than any all-mountain inbounds ski we’ve tested.

And if this were any other ski, we would basically dismiss any hope for even decent high-speed stability.

And yet, if you follow us on Instagram, you’ll have seen a picture of the 184 cm Endurance 98 next to the 184 cm Head Monster 98, which is one of the heaviest, stiffest, and most stable 98mm-underfoot skis we’ve ever tested.

So why did I spend all day yesterday A/B-ing the Monster 98 against a ski that’s nearly 700 grams lighter per ski?

Again, I’m going to sleep on my Flash Review before we post it tomorrow, because right now, I’ve either lost my mind, or… ?
