2025-2026 Tecnica Mach1 LV 115 W & Mach1 LV 130

Tecnica has just announced that they’re updating the Mach1 LV collection, which is their “low-volume” series of alpine boots. There will be 130, 120, and 110 flex options in men’s sizing and 115, 105, and 95 in women’s. Tecnica says “the new Mach1 LV can be found in a select number of retailers now, with full launch in September 2025.”

Precise details are still limited at the moment, but we’ll be getting in the new boots soon to provide our first-hand impressions. In the meantime, we’ve pasted the full press release from Tecnica at the bottom of this post.

To summarize: Tecnica made tweaks to the fit of the shell and liner with the goal of maintaining a precise fit while making the boot easier to get in and out of. They still list a last width of 98 mm (size 26.5); given that the prior-gen Mach1 LV was one of the (overall) lowest-volume boots with that stated last width, we’re curious to see how similar or different the 25/26 generation feels.

Additionally, Tecnica says the new design “improves the boot’s consistency and efficiency,” and they specifically call out a revised version of their “T-Drive” mechanism, which connects the lower shell and upper cuff in the spine area. T-Drive has been utilized in various forms across their various Mach1 series, but the 25/26 Mach1 LV’s is now a two-piece affair, taking inspiration from the “Double Blocking Mechanism” on some of Tecnica’s touring boots.

Again, we’ll report back with more info once we’re able to log some time in these boots. For now, check out these detail photos from Tecnica and read their whole press release, below.

Tecnica Unleashes New Mach1 LV Series, Redesigned to Deliver Optimum Fit and Efficient Performance for Committed Skiers.

WEST LEBANON, NH (JAN 6, 2025) – Tecnica proudly announces the launch of an all-new Mach1 LV series, improving fit, efficiency, and performance for all-mountain and frontside skiers. Pairing meticulous craftsmanship with insights from athletes and top boot-fitters, the heritage boot brand has raised the bar once again in the advanced to expert low-volume category.

“Our first goal with this redesign was to remain one of the most precise low volume boots on the market, while improving the skier’s experience from start to finish,” explained North American Product Manager, Christian Avery. “To do that, we made several micro-adjustments to the shape of the shell and liner to make them easier to get in and out of, while still maintaining 98mm through the mid foot.”

The new liner, consisting of 46 individual parts (36 of which require hand-stitching), is an example of Tecnica’s long-standing attention to detail and their relationship with some of the world’s most notable boot-fitters who are actively involved throughout the design process. These design techniques, paired with the customization capabilities of the shell and tongue, are what allow a performance-oriented boot to feel personally tailored to each individual skier.

The second design goal was to further refine performance and feel – design elements that have long-remained core pillars to Tecnica. To do so, they have introduced a new T-Drive mechanism – the cuff-to-shell interface that improves the boot’s consistency and efficiency, providing skiers with more power, precision and continuous control in all types of snow, temperatures and terrain.

“We once again have learned from the Double Blocking Mechanism used in our touring boots to reduce materials and refine the flex feeling we want in the boots. The new iteration is now a two-piece system that makes the boot even more efficient with a better feeling as you flex through the entire profile,” said Avery.

Available in 130 ($799.99), 120 ($699.99), and 110 ($599.99) for men, and 115 ($799.99), 105 ($699.99), and 95 ($599.99) for women, the new Mach1 LV can be found in a select number of retailers now, with full launch in September 2025.
