very directional overall, but is pretty lively and has a low swing weight for what it is.

WHAT TYPE(S) OF SKIER DO YOU IMAGINE WILL GET ALONG BEST WITH THIS SKI?

Directional skiers who value quickness, maneuverability, and on-piste performance. It’s a really well-rounded ski in this class, though definitely not the most stable in chop and crud.

ARE THERE SIMILAR PRODUCTS YOU’VE SKIED THAT YOU CLEARLY PREFER? IF SO, WHY?

The Volkl M6 Mantra’s turn initiation feels a bit more intuitive (at least to me) and that ski is more stable at high speeds, but the Stormrider 95 is much quicker and a bit more forgiving.

Really impressed so far. The Stormrider 95 offers a rare combination of off-piste quickness / maneuverability, on-piste edge hold and energy, and suspension-to-weight ratio.
