WHAT TYPE(S) OF SKIER DO YOU IMAGINE WILL GET ALONG BEST WITH THIS SKI?
Very tall/heavy intermediate skiers should definitely have this ski on their radar. Advanced and expert skiers also have a lot to like here, especially those who like to charge and appreciate stability, but also value playfulness and maneuverability in their skis. The 194 cm Devastator is solidly in the “playful charger” category alongside the 192 cm Dynastar M-Free 108, 191 cm Rossi Sender Free 110, etc.
ARE THERE SIMILAR PRODUCTS YOU’VE SKIED THAT YOU CLEARLY PREFER? IF SO, WHY?
I do prefer the damping of the 191 cm Sender Free 110 over the Devastator, and the 187 cm ON3P Woodsman 108 is a bit easier in tight spots without sacrificing much stability. But, the 194 cm Dev wins over both of those skis when it comes to flotation in powder.

This has been a really pleasant surprise this season. I’ve really come to appreciate the stability and flotation this ski offers. It has a huge sweet spot and isn’t very hard to ski. It offers a really nice, big landing platform for airs and drops. It’s still quite loose, and impressively maneuverable for its size. Those looking for a “playful charger” should certainly have the 194 cm Devastator on their radar. I also think it’s a great option for bigger intermediate skiers looking for a lot of support without a very demanding ski.
