WHAT TYPE(S) OF SKIER DO YOU IMAGINE WILL GET ALONG BEST WITH THIS SKI?
Skiers looking for an extremely playful and maneuverable powder ski. It’s best for those with a more playful style and a more centered / balanced stance. Anyone from beginners to experts can like this ski.
ARE THERE SIMILAR PRODUCTS YOU’VE SKIED THAT YOU CLEARLY PREFER? IF SO, WHY?
I definitely like a heavier powder ski for resort use, such as the 190 cm Moment Wildcat. Heavier options handle chop and crud much better. But, the Bent Chetler 120 is superior in terms of maneuverability and playfulness, and makes mellow terrain more fun.
PLEASE ELABORATE ON ANYTHING ELSE YOU’D LIKE TO SAY ABOUT THIS SKI. FEEL FREE TO GO INTO DETAIL!
The Bent Chetler 120 is one of the easiest, most playful powder skis out there, even in the longest 192 cm length. It’s surfy, quick, and easy to ski. I definitely prefer the 192 cm length to the 184 cm, the flotation is much better and the ski has a bigger sweet spot, especially in chop. This is a great option for making the most of mellow terrain or picking your way through tight terrain seeking out powder. It’s also still an excellent option for touring and 50/50 use.
