Tried for a few runs at the Freeride Days Engelberg test weekend. Towards the end of the day in snowy conditions, felt good on soft cut up pistes and also pretty good in chunky, heavy off piste. Did not get enough time to truly judge float and surfiness. They feel like I imagine a wider version of the M-Free 108 would be. I also skied the M-Free 99 at the test (loved it) and could see the resemblance. Obviously not as quick but fun and easy to navigate. Could see them as an option for someone buying their first fatter ski, but also for more expert skiers. Will be interested to see what they weigh as they did not feel as if they were c. 2200g (my guess at what they are) other than when carrying them. Given their more forward mount than a directional ski I would have preferred something like a 186cm length.
