I am not sure I can rate on Playful. I keep my skis on the ground, and I am not jumping off of anything except for the odd mogul to get to the next one. But I will say, I did some things on these skis in moguls, I have never done before.

SKI LENGTH: It felt just right (188 cm length tested)

WHAT TYPE(S) OF SKIER DO YOU IMAGINE WILL GET ALONG BEST WITH THIS SKI?

I think an advance skier, who skies the who mountain will enjoy this ski. Especially if they are skiing advance runs that will be ungroomed.

ARE THERE SIMILAR PRODUCTS YOU’VE SKIED THAT YOU CLEARLY PREFER? IF SO, WHY?

Atomic Maverick 95ti.
The Maverick was my daily driver for 2 years off progressing back into skiing vs the 2.5 days on the Salomon.

I feel both skis are good daily drivers especially if you are not skiing a lot of soft snow. I think the Salomon is a bit better off piste in moguls and tight spaces. It turns very easy, and the tails do not get caught up.
I did not ski the Salomon in Fresh snow, so I cannot make any statement here, other than it probably would not be the right tool for the job.

PLEASE ELABORATE ON ANYTHING ELSE YOU’D LIKE TO SAY ABOUT THIS SKI. FEEL FREE TO GO INTO DETAIL!

After 2.5 days on this ski in some firm conditions (crusty but not super icy), I was very smitten by this ski.
As a west coast skier, I think it would be a perfect #2 ski for me, as I like to ski bumps firm and icy are good as long as it is not to steep. When I do ski groomers, I am not pushing maximum speeds (30 mph is my natural cap on speed), I like making tightish turns in the fall line and this ski does this. Bushwhacking around CB on week old snow, in all types of terrain this ski felt very much like a natural fit, and I kept going back to the Salomon tent to take it out again and again.
