WHAT TYPE(S) OF SKIER DO YOU IMAGINE WILL GET ALONG BEST WITH THIS SKI?

Advanced and expert skiers who could no doubt push it harder than I was able to. Felt it had a nice combination of solidity and yet also agility. Could easily serve as the wider soft snow ski for those who are not skiing deep pow all the time.

ARE THERE SIMILAR PRODUCTS YOU’VE SKIED THAT YOU CLEARLY PREFER? IF SO, WHY?

I prefer the Moment Meridian @ 181 that I have. Strong ski but find it more agile than the Ranger. Like the reverse camber. I have a pair of Salomon QST 106‘s (first gen orange ones) and think I might prefer the Ranger over them, but would need to ski it more to be sure.

Tried for a couple of hours at the Engelberg Freeride Days event in March 25. Had snowed on the Thursday night and I skied it Saturday, so in tracked out off piste that was beginning to get a bit heavy. Found it gave me confidence in those conditions, felt relatively stable yet still agile enough that I did not feel locked into turns. Decent on soft cut up pistes. Had not really planned to try this ski so was pleasantly surprised. Would certainly recommend to others to try it, but would not buy it as I already have this spot in my quiver taken.
