PLAYFULNESS (Open Ended):

loose and surfy, but heavy swing weight and not that balanced. Also doesn’t ski switch well in deep snow. Does produce some pop when bent, though.

WHAT TYPE(S) OF SKIER DO YOU IMAGINE WILL GET ALONG BEST WITH THIS SKI?

Folks who want a pretty strong, heavy, and stable pow-oriented ski, but who also don’t want something with a super rearward mount point and/or that is difficult to slash around.

ARE THERE SIMILAR PRODUCTS YOU’VE SKIED THAT YOU CLEARLY PREFER? IF SO, WHY?

Rossignol Black’s 118 feels just a touch more stable in chop and crud, but might actually be worse in terms of flotation. Moment Wildcat is quicker but not quite as stable and doesn’t float quite as well. Line Blade Optic 114 is looser and feels a bit quicker, but not as versatile outside of pow and soft chop.

Really impressed overall. Offers a rare blend of traits when it comes to heavy, strong, wide skis. Fits nicely between the very directional and very freestyle-oriented ends of the spectrum.
