WHAT TYPE(S) OF SKIER DO YOU IMAGINE WILL GET ALONG BEST WITH THIS SKI?

Physically and technically strong directional skiers who prioritize edge hold, suspension, and stability over quickness, maneuverability, or playfulness.

ARE THERE SIMILAR PRODUCTS YOU’VE SKIED THAT YOU CLEARLY PREFER? IF SO, WHY?

The Volkl Mantra 102 feels pretty similar overall. That ski is a bit easier to release / pivot and offers similarly good edge hold, but probably isn’t quite as stable at speed in firmer conditions (comparing 184 cm Mantra 102 vs. 188 cm Anomaly 102).

PLEASE ELABORATE ON ANYTHING ELSE YOU’D LIKE TO SAY ABOUT THIS SKI. FEEL FREE TO GO INTO DETAIL!

This is a strong, precise, damp, and stable all-mountain ski. It’s an excellent carver and stands out at high speeds. It’s not very quick, maneuverable, or forgiving, but is very promising so far for directional skiers who value those former traits.
