This week the winner of our Gear Giveaway will not only get to pick any Renoun ski they want, they’ll also get POC’s sweet new Obex Helmet + Nexal Goggle combo!
On the ski side, the winner can pick from any of Renoun’s five models: the Atlas 80, Earhart 88, Endurance 88, Endurance 98, and Citadel 106. All of them feature Renoun’s unique “VibeStop” construction; you can learn more about it in our Blister Podcast with Renoun’s founder, our reviews of several Renoun skis, and our upcoming Blister Summit Brand Lineup with Renoun. In short, these skis feel pretty accessible and easy at slow speeds, but then their unique construction gets dynamically stiffer and more stable the harder you push the skis. It’s pretty wild, and results in really interesting ride qualities.
On the headwear side, the winner will be able to pick from POC’s Obex or Obex BC helmets, both of which feature adjustable ventilation, are fairly light, and sleek aesthetics. The winner will be able to seamlessly pair the helmet with POC’s brand-new Nexal Clarity goggles, which are designed to work perfectly with the Obex and come with a few really interesting features. Most notably, the Nexal has zygomatic bone covers under the lens to provide additional facial protection from impacts and sun, as well as “outriggers” on either side to sit even closer to the helmet.
