  1. Alex says the freeride line has the center of gravity closer to the rider, and then he says it is narrower.
    If you consider that volume = height X width X depth, the way to bring the CoG closer (in other words, reduce the depth) is to INcrease the width (as Raide does in their ski packs), not decrease it.
    Of course the other way to reduce depth is to make it taller, but it doesn’t look like that’s really the case, and in order to compensate for the decrease in width, it would have to be MUCH taller to be able to ALSO reduce the depth.
