This is our second time staying at Wallstreet Suites, and it’s an easy place to recommend. It’s a comfortable, unpretentious place run by very nice people (Wendy Kelley and Gretchen Palmer). The suites are new and very nice, and come with all the amenities — full refrigerator, full stove, dishwasher, microwave — everything you need to make your meals while you’re in town, and a location that makes it a short walk to all the great establishments in downtown Bend.
It’s also a quiet place, which is great if you need to get any work done or hammer out some gear reviews…
Wallstreet Suites also has pet-friendly rooms, large flat-screen tvs, and these incredible natural stone showers. It’s a pretty remarkable combination of “relaxed” and “really nice,” and it’s an easy 30-minute drive up to Mt Bachelor.
And sometimes, if you are really fortunate, you get to wake up to views like this before you head up to the mountain:
