The winner of this week’s giveaway will win two stoves from Primus — their two-burner Tupike and their all-in-one Lite+. We’ve been testing several of Primus’ stoves this year, including the Tupike and Lite+, and our initial impressions are very positive.
With the Tupike, Primus took the classic two-burner camping stove and made it a bit more compact and way better looking (seriously, this stove is gorgeous). The Tupike features a stainless steel body with oak and brass accents, piezo lighters for easy ignition, a handle that locks the stove for easy transport, and it can run on both propane and traditional backpacking gas canisters with the included adapter kit.
The Lite+ is Primus’ solution for rapid water boiling and simple meal prep. It features a unique stove / pot interface that is sturdier and lower-profile than many of the other options on the market, making it feel more stable where some all-in-one stoves can feel a bit tippy. The Lite+ includes the stove itself, a 17-oz pot, a lid that doubles as a mug, and an insulated sleeve with a handle. When combined with a 3.5-oz gas canister, the entire system nests inside of the pot, making for a very compact, simple, and efficient backcountry cooking system.
