The NovaUL, available in men’s and women’s versions, features several interesting bits of tech. First is its “Nova Zero Stitch” fabric construction; rather than utilizing sewn or bonded seams, the channels of down are actually woven together, meaning no needle holes and better wind and water resistance. The jacket also features Outdoor Vitals’ “DownLT” insulation, which consists mostly of ultralight 850-fill-power HyperDry down, but adds a bit of synthetic LoftTek insulation for better stability and moisture resistance.
We’ve recently been using several Outdoor Vitals products, from their down quilts to their jackets, and the feedback across the board has been really positive so far.
