Dalbello 22/23 Boots | Blister Summit Brand Lineup

We sat down with Dalbello’s Geoff Curtis and Chris McKenna to discuss Dalbello’s 2022-2023 lineup of ski boots; developing both 3-piece ‘Cabrio’ and 2-piece ‘Overlap’ designs; the age-old debate about the pros and cons of both designs; Dalbello’s brand-new Veloce overlap series; the industry finally settling on boot sole norms; the rise of Alpine boots with tech toe fittings; the lightweight Quantum Free and Quantum Evo series and their unique 2-piece bonding construction; working to close the loop on boot manufacturing waste; and more.

  1. One thing Dalbello doesn’t get enough credit for is making an adult ski boot in size 21.5. Noone else does it, but there are plenty of adults with small feet who want to ski.

  2. I had Dalbello Krypton 120s from 2014 to last year. I can attest to the ease of entry and the warmth. I also really liked the heel retention from that middle buckle. There are some aspects I didn’t like so much but those features were great.
