After a break on Monday, the showcase events of this year’s Cranworx resumed today with the Unofficial Whip-Off World Championships. In short, the event seeks to answer one question: Who’s got the best style?
Racers and freeriders took to Crabapple Hits at Whistler Mountain Bike Park to throw their best whips, the biggest and most stylish of which was rewarded with a $1,000 cash prize.
Cam Zink and Brendan Fairclough took home honors of Best Overall Lines, while Ian Morrison had the Lowest Whip / Scrub, and second place went to Thomas Vanderham. But this year’s title went to Tyler McCaul.
