Trip Report: Las Leñas – Week 1

We’ve now been down in Las Leñas, Argentina for a full week, and we figured it was time to provide a bit of a recap.

The people here are fantastic, the mountain is amazing, and the torta de chocolate at the Innsbruck might be the best thing I’ve ever tasted in my life.

We’ve had a wide range of conditions in which to test our selected skis, and the hallowed “Santa Rosa” storm is rolling in right now, which means that our second week here is going to be full on, powder performance testing. (And yes, we’re unbelievably giddy right now.)

Trip Report: Las Leñas – Week 1

Having flown from Santiago, Chile, to Mendoza, Argentina, we hopped on a bus to Las Leñas. The views of the Andes mountains from the bus are not only spectacular, they provide some sense of what you are going to experience upon arrival at VLL.
