I rode the original Soul Rider this past winter, and I personally found it to be quite a stiff ski. However, I’ve heard that the 87 is significantly softer in the nose and tail, would you agree or disagree? I also wasn’t a fan of how unpredictable the Soul Rider was going fast in icy or rough late season conditions. I would imagine that the narrow waste here improves responsiveness?

Can you explain the -1 mount a little? Do you agree that that could make the tails feel washy when the tips were loaded?
I also would like some feedback on your mounting point and why you did it. Did you try other positions and if you did how did the characteristics of the ski change.
