What Nordica says about the Unleashed 114
“Built for the modern freeskier, Nordica’s Unleashed collection is perfect for those who spend their days off trail in the woods and chasing pow. With an emphasis on versatility, these skis provide the perfect blend of playfulness and performance. Their rockered tip and tail profile easily handles diverse terrain and variable conditions. And to further boost your confidence, they pair a wood core with carbon and a sheet of terrain-specific metal, which enhances edge hold and dampens vibrations for an especially smooth ride. If you view groomers as nothing more than how you get to the terrain you truly want to ski, the Unleashed is your soulmate. Your best days are yet to come—chase them down and turn loose your creativity with Nordica’s Unleashed.”

Flex Pattern
Here’s how we’d characterize the flex pattern of the Unleashed 114:
Tips: 6-6.5
Shovels: 7-8.5
In Front of Toe Piece: 9-10
Underfoot: 10
Behind the Heel Piece: 10-9.5
Tails: 9-8
With the exception of the tip the Unleashed 114 is fairly stiff throughout the body of the ski.
Stay Tuned…
We received the Nordica Unleashed 114 for testing this winter. Stay tuned for updates and let us know if you have any questions regarding Nordica’s widest addition to the Unleashed series.
I’m bummed that Nordica discontinued the Enforcer 115 Free. It’s an amazing ski in my opinion. This Unleashed 114 is not the same thing, and it doesn’t do anything for me. Oh well…you can’t always get what you want.
Agreed! I was really hoping for more size options in the 115 Free next year.
Yeah that 115 only came in a 191 all those years, they should have made a 186, probably would have sold a bunch of them.
im wondering how this flex pattern works with its weight, seems stiff for its weight compared to a ski I in joy like the Rustler 11 at similar weight and design.
How does the tip rocker compare to the 104 Free? Is it as deep?
Looks like you did not get a chance to ski this newbie and I am excited to hear the blister take on it. having had the free 115 and the free 104, the weight and metal of the free 115 seemed excessive for my 6’5” 175lb physique,,,, although I thought a 200+ lb skier might enjoy the weight. The 115 skied excellently but it’s weight and swing weight felt a bit anchoring,,,, I really don’t need that kind of stability when I can summon the 104 in my quiver. For me the 104 has been a go to and anything wider just needed for the deepest days,,, so less metal, lighter, more pop and a friendly swing weight has been the replacement I have been looking for in that wider width. The unleashed 114 seems like they read my mind. Faction Mana3 at 112 is also a high consideration.
The 114 is a marvel .. Its very light , so initially I thought it would get kicked around a lot … Not true .. Its a very stable ski and obviously quite playful ..
It is not going to compare to a Revolt or Blavk Ops 118 for Mach 1 crud blasting , but it won’t tire you out either ..
Nordica had a model called the enforcer 115 pro, they then renamed it to the enforcer 115 free, these were sold in 191cm length only. I own both those skis and love them. Blister loved them also. The obvious question is, how does the new Unleashed 114 in a 191cm length compare to the Enforcer 115 Pro/Enforcer 115 Free? It looks like they removed one layer of metal, and changed the full sheet of metal to a sculpted metal making the ski lighter. I can’t imagine that is an improvement.
