What FullSend says about the Max K 106
“Built to bomb down the mountain. From hardpack to deep pow to chop, the 106 will be your quiver killer. Lay down some GS turns on the hardpack before taking them for a romp through the trees. Then dive into the untouched back bowls and you’ll be left wondering how one ski can do so much.
Materials: This ski is built with a laminated bamboo core as its backbone due to bamboo’s lively yet damp nature. The core is then wrapped in 22oz fiberglass with a 2in wide carbon fiber stringer running the length of the ski. The base is 1.4mm thick with your choice of neon green, yellow, red, blue, purple, or orange. The base is given a ¾ edge wrap with 2.4mm X 2.0mm edges. The topsheet is your choice of either Oak, Hickory Pecan, Cherry, Walnut, Mahogany, or Bamboo wood veneer with or without custom hand-drawn graphics.”
Flex Pattern
Here’s how we’d characterize the flex pattern of the Max K 106:
Tips: 6.5
Shovels: 6.5-7.5
In Front of Toe Piece: 8.5-9.5
Underfoot: 10
Behind the Heel Piece: 9.5-8
Tails: 7.5-6.5
This ski has a pretty round flex pattern, and it’s quite soft at the very ends of the tips and tails.
