What Heritage Lab says about the AM90:

THE PLAYFUL CARVER

Boost side hits and pull G-forces. The AM90 is equally business and party. Featuring edge geometry and sidecut profiles that are optimized for the 180cm length, this ski is sized not in cm but by stiffness. The Production version is a refreshingly playful and fun ride. The limited edition Comp flex is for high-input skiers looking to push it.

Skiing is always fun, and the AM90 makes every low tide day WAY more fun.

  • 6.75cm tip height and 3.5cm tail height ensure a surfy yet engaged ride overall, with a low 1.5mm camber pocket that ensures clean edge purchase with a balanced and intuitive off-edge feel in variable and challenging snow conditions.
  • Offered in two flexes to refine the ride for various skiers
    • The Production Flex (7.5 out of 10) is optimized for the vast majority of skiers and rewards most ski styles. It is the most versatile and playful option
    • The Comp Flex (8.5 out of 10) is a limited edition offering purpose-built for high input skiers who drive their skis hard and is notably less playful.
  • Super smooth TPU sidewalls
  • Incredibly refined fiberglass layup and full-width VDS Rubber rides like the finest raceroom built skis, but optimized with modern shaping to increase the creativity in your skiing
  • Bamboo / Poplar wood core balances pop and damping for an addictive ride
  • Extra hard and fast black race base for enhanced wax absorption and reduced electrostatic drag”

Flex Pattern

Here’s how we’d characterize the flex pattern of the ‘production flex’ version of the AM90:

Tips: 7
Shovels: 7.5-8
In Front of Toe Piece: 8.5-10
Underfoot: 10
Behind the Heel Piece: 9.5-8.5
Tails: 8-7.5
