The Milos jersey is one of the most comfortable jerseys I’ve ever worn. I usually wear “Small” jerseys and the Milos fits true-to-size. It is form fitting, but not tight. The torso length is a bit long for me and might be suited better for slightly taller riders, but it isn’t cumbersome and never rides up.
The material used in the Milos Jersey (a polyester, catonic polyester, and spandex blend) is extremely soft and comfortable to move around in. However, it is fairly thick and can overheat on hot days. The half-zip neck helps with venting, but the Milos still isn’t a warm weather jersey. It was perfect on early November rides between 50°- 65°F, but I would look for something more lightweight on a hot summer day.
ZOIC keeps the extra features on the Milos to a minimum. There is just one oversized pocket in the back that is accessed by a top zipper. It can fit a tube, CO2 canister and applicator, multitool, and energy bar. But, when fully loaded, the jersey sags down in the back and flops around while riding due to the relaxed fit. With just a tube or snack in the pocket I didn’t have this problem.
For those who ride with a pack, the Milos is perfect. The soft material, lack of seams on the shoulders and form-fitting cut make it so packs don’t push into any seams or cause any bumps in the material. However, on warm days your back is sure to overheat.
Bottom Line
The Milos Jersey is a well thought out and flattering jersey. It has just enough features to work well for a quick pack-less spin and is comfortable enough to wear all day. It’s too thick for hot weather, but is at home on cool to warmer rides.

The Naveah 7 shorts are “all mountain performance fit” baggy shorts with a very feminine cut. They are a shorter version of the original Naveah shorts, which have an 11” inseam. The Naveah 7 maintains the construction of the original Naveah, but has the shorter cut for women who aren’t looking to wear knee pads and don’t want as much coverage.
The shorts end a few inches above my knee while standing, but lie around mid-thigh when I’m on the bike. The stitchless leg hems incorporate a slightly thicker non-stretchy band that prevents the shorts from riding up, especially while descending at high speeds.
ZOIC nailed the fit and comfort of the Naveah 7 shorts. The SuperLight Stretch fabric is easily the most comfortable baggy short material I have ever worn. It also feels durable enough to hold up in a sliding crash, but I haven’t had the pleasure of testing that. The shorts are a bit more form-fitting than I am used to, but I usually wear men’s shorts that cover kneepads and provide coverage past my knees. The Small is true-to-size, it fits well at my waist and is not constricting, but is a tighter fit in the legs than more downhill-oriented shorts.
The wide low-profile waistband is forgiving without containing any elastic that could wear out over time. The waistband sits at my hips and doesn’t bunch up or move around after adjusting the Velcro waistband tabs.
The Naveah 7 has five pockets. The two side leg pockets are well placed and fit an iPhone or Clif Bar snugly so that it does not move around or bang into your leg. The back pocket is fine for flat objects (i.e. a Honey Stingers waffle), but anything chunky gets in the way while riding. The two front pockets are useless while pedaling because they are placed right where my leg bends.
Bottom Line
The Naveah 7 is an extremely comfortable and flattering trail riding short. All-mountain riders may want to choose something with a bit more coverage that can go over kneepads, but XC and trail riders who want a low profile baggy short should consider these. If you are in search of a ladies-fit short that is comfortable while riding and looks good enough to hang out in post-ride, the Naveah 7 may be a great fit for you.
