This is an index of all Blister ski reviews, sorted by a variety of classes, categories, and widths.
You can also search the Index of Blister Ski Reviews, Sorted by Manufacturer.
Our groupings are not strict classifications. Rather, they provide a loose framework to help you home in on the type of ski that will suit you best. And since these are general categories, some skis are listed in more than one section.
Within each category, skis are ordered by waist width (in millimeters), from narrowest to widest. Each ski’s width is noted at the end of its own listing

ALL-MOUNTAIN SKIS: DIRECTIONAL
[75-100mm Underfoot / Directional – More Forgiving]
These skis are relatively light, quick, and forgiving. They are well suited for bump skiing; good at carving; offer good edge hold and finish carved turns powerfully. Maneuverable at moderate and slower speeds. They are not good for skiing switch; less appealing to those who like a more playful ski with a looser feel; less suitable for skiing aggressively in chopped and variable conditions.

They have high speed limits / top ends. These skis are designed to be pushed hard and fast; not the best option for skiing slowly or making lots of turns.

WOMEN’S SKIS
These are designated by the manufacturers as women-specific skis. Sometimes, the difference between these and another ski in a manufacturer’s line is merely the graphic. Other times, these skis are built with a lighter weight, softer flex, and adjusted recommended mounting point than skis that aren’t “women-specific.” (In our reviews, we point out these particular similarities and differences.)
It also should be said that many women opt for non-women-specific models, and some men prefer the lighter weight or softer flex profile of some of these skis.

PARK SKIS
These skis are designed primarily with park skiing in mind; spinning & flipping off jumps, rails, and boxes. They are narrower underfoot than all-mountain, freestyle oriented skis; less capable in variable / soft conditions.
