What Zag says about the Harfang 106

“The ultimate freerider’s weapon! Performance in all conditions.

The best compromise between stiffness in torsion and flex. Composed of a double layer multiaxial fiberglass, the goal is to make skis that are effective in all types of snow. From the legendary H-112, having proven themselves attached to the legs of our best riders, the Heavy Duty construction gives skiers maximum reliability and safety. Lightweight, for more off-piste flotation, but stiff to fully enjoy days of chopped snow. This construction gives the ski great edge hold on hard snow so to link the turns!”

Flex Pattern

Here’s how we’d characterize the flex pattern of the Harfang 106:

Tips: 6.5
Shovels: 6-7
In Front of Toe Piece: 7.5-10
Underfoot: 10
Behind the Heel Piece: 9.5-9
Tails: 9

  1. Demoed the 192 earlier in the winter, cool ski but too directional for my tastes. The one thing that super impressed me was how smooth it felt, it’d say the suspension is better than my Sender Squad. Seemed like it could be a great all conditions charger for the right skier

  2. Great to see a few Zag skis appearing for review. Have not had a chance to ski them so will be keen to hear where they sit on the spectrum. Hope you can get on the 112 and the UBAC range
