Introducing: CRAFTED

Blister Crafted Podcast; Trailer episode

Today, I’d like to introduce you to our latest podcast, CRAFTED.

On CRAFTED, we are going to dive deep into the craft world to explore how things get made, and our guides are going to be the remarkable people who insist on making things well.

We’re going to be talking about the art of making beer, coffee, whiskey, watches, wine, knives, and more, while also introducing you to the people behind some of our favorite companies that — we suspect — might become some of your favorite companies, too.

Our guests will be some of the very best and most passionate brewers, distillers, winemakers, coffee producers, retailers, and founders that launched craft companies — often when doing so seemed crazy. But their passion and principles caused them to forge ahead anyway, and you’re going to hear their stories and learn how they approach their craft.

Our first episode drops this coming Wednesday, August 10th, so subscribe to CRAFTED wherever you get your podcasts, and join us as we embark on this dive deep into the art — and the business — of craft.

Along the way, I am certain that you are going to learn a lot — as am I — and I am confident that we will introduce you to many amazing people and a number of your own new favorite companies.

  1. Jonathan,
I can never get my wife to listen to podcasts with me when we’re in the car together but somehow I convinced her to listen to Crafted at some point last year. It was the episode when you interviewed the owner of ‘My Sugar’, the Gelateria in Florence. My wife lived in Florence for a year for grad school and we had been planning a family trip with our two toddlers in 2024 so we wrote it down. Fast forward a year to now, we’re in Florence, and we remembered the recommendation. It just so happens that My Sugar is only four doors down from the apartment we are staying at so it couldn’t have worked out better. We’d like to report that it is, in fact, some of the best gelato we’ve ever had. Our six and three year old aficionado children agree and we will be back over the course of the next four days we are staying. Thank you for the recommendation and the consistent and quality content on all of the blister podcasts. Cheers!

    • Yes! This makes me so happy!

And in news that makes me even happier, I’m going to be back in Firenze in THREE WEEKS. Can’t wait to get back there – and, of course – to My Sugar.

Thanks for writing, and enjoy the rest of your stay!
