      • My first thought when I saw the pic of Mikaela with Santa was that this was some kind of extraordinary Blister Christmas Guide suggestion – ski with Mikaela for a day – a present I am sure many would love, but nobody could afford

  1. I once tried to buy dark-roast beans from a local third-wave coffee shop. The ones they pointed me to were not dark brown but instead off-white to tan in color and produced coffee that tasted like grass clippings. As Bill the Cat, who sadly died of acne, would say, “Thbbft!”

That said, I also love secondhand tobacco smoke in the outdoors.

  2. I’m a Packers fan, but I’m not here to rub it in. Keep your head up about the Bears. They may have lost but Caleb Williams looked like a Hall of Famer for most of the game. I think that the Bears may actually have a franchise quarterback for the first time ever. Now they just need to spend the entire next draft on offensive linemen so that he has more than a second to pass. The future is bright if they can get a dominant OL.

    • That’s all very kind of you, Steve. I’m still all-in on Caleb – haven’t wavered on him for a minute this season. Very psyched about that – as well as the development of Rome. We got rid of one utterly inept coach before this Packers game, we need to get rid of at least one other utterly inept coach at the end of this season. And then… I’ve already got my short list of HC’s that I’m praying for for next season.

And then … yeah, we need great linemen.

  3. Excited to hear about the “good” Lotus 138 potentially returning from the dead. Might be my first super-fat ski if it becomes a reality!

  4. Great episode! Loved it and this one hits so close to home! Just had my boots fitted at Viking! Such a great shop, I am so happy with them. After checking the Blister approved map and not seeing them I’m glad you are adding them now.
I am as well an upset Bears fan and love the interaction with Cody!! How can he not love The Bear? Pizza yes, would love a pod on Pizza. Maybe best mountain town pizza after you complete the Chicago Pizza special!

  5. Was thinking of your Tyson v Paul outdoor sports equivalent. Easy to think of someone like Cuche or Zurbriggen (confess first thought was Klammer or Stenmark but obviously quite a bit older). Struggling with who the Paul equivalent would be?
