Our reviewer Paul Forward spent much of last season on La Machine and he came away thoroughly impressed (see our Winter Buyer’s Guide for more). It’s a 126mm-wide ski that offers excellent flotation in deep snow while also performing pretty well in more variable conditions — especially considering that it’s extremely light for its size and pretty ideal for human-powered skiing.
