Gordini’s Wrangell Glove and 3 Finger Mitten both feature Pittard’s goatskin leather throughout, with Bison-leather and high-denier nylon reinforcements where you need them. I’ve personally been using the Wrangell 3 Finger Mitt for the past month, and am really liking it. Its Primaloft insulation and soft fleece lining have kept me warm on many of the coldest days in Crested Butte, while the 3-finger design keeps my pointer finger free when I need to adjust my boots, shoot some pictures, etc.
The Wrangell’s goatskin leather is soft and supple, and when combined with the glove / mitt’s pre-curved shape, makes for good dexterity and great grip. Meanwhile, the padding and reinforcements on the back of the hand protect my hands for the inevitable impact when my line gets a bit tighter than anticipated. All in all, the Wrangell is a durable, all-round ski / snowboard glove that has worked well after a month of heavy use.
