Ahnu Harris
Color: Medium Grey
Size Reviewed: 10.5 US / 44 EU
Weight per Shoe (with insoles): 394 & 392 grams
MSRP: $135 USD
Reviewer’s Feet:
• Left foot: 270mm long; Right foot: 275mm long.
• C-width, narrow heel. High arch, high instep.
The Ahnu Harris is a good looking, relatively lightweight chukka boot, with a full-grain leather upper and a Vibram Morflex outsole.
It has a moderate amount of arch support, a lightly cushioned forefoot, and a pretty cushy heel.
Fit / Sizing
These run wide, which I personally like. (Ski boots and climbing shoes should fit tight. Casual shoes don’t need to, right?) I’ve been wearing the Harris in my typical size 10.5 / 44, and while it is a roomy fit, I like it.
But if you are on the fence between sizes, or prefer a snug fit over a roomy one, then I would suggest dropping down a 1/2 size instead of going up a 1/2 size.
Bottom Line
While you could do a little light trail hiking in the Ahnu Harris, I’d recommend these as a town shoe. Wear ’em to work, wear ’em on a Friday night. You’ll be good to go.

The Gobi’s look like a modern take on what we used to call “fruit boots”, which used to cost maybe $20.
