The folks at Head have been busy, and they’ve just revealed what they’ve been up to — including a full overhaul of the Kore ski collection, new dual-BOA ski boots, and more.
We’ve already started testing all these new products, so keep an eye out for First Looks and Flash Reviews in the near future. In the meantime, let’s take a closer look at all these new products:
2025-2026 Head Kore Skis
The Kore collection has been a staple in Head’s lineup for many years now, and these skis have always been defined by their lightweight constructions and strong freeride platforms.
For 25/26, Head is making big changes. There will be two families under the Kore name. The new “Kore X” series spans widths from 90 to 74 mm and is designed for all-mountain use and more of a focus on on-piste performance. The new “Kore Ti” collection is more focused on freeride and spans from the Kore 87 Ti W all the way up to the pow-oriented Kore 118 Ti.
Relative to the previous Kore skis, the new Kore Ti models feature new shapes, new rocker profiles, new core constructions, and new flex patterns. I.e., just about everything about them is new apart from their names.
The shapes of the Kore Ti skis look fairly similar to the prior-gen Kore skis, but they look like they all feature a bit more rocker for a more maneuverable, surfier feel.

What’s arguably the biggest change is found within the new Kore Ti skis. The unisex models now feature heavier karuba / beech wood cores and two titanal layers that are made from at least 40% recyclable materials. The women’s models utilize a poplar and PET core in place of karuba and beech. Worth noting: many of the unisex models are actually available in short lengths (down to 156 cm for several models).
All of them still feature graphene in their construction, as well as a new “hybrid” top sheet that utilizes flax fibers for added damping.
All of this should make the Kore Ti skis more damp and stable at high speeds, partly due to the fact that the Kore Ti skis gained some weight vs. their very light predecessors. E.g., our 184 cm Kore 106 Ti weighs about 2140 grams per ski, and our 177 cm Kore 94 Ti weighs about 1875 grams per ski.
We’ll have First Looks up in the future with all of our measured specs, but for now, here’s an overview of the Kore Ti lineup:

The aforementioned Kore X series includes five models, all of which are available pre-mounted with an LYT Power Rail base plate (the Kore Ti skis are sold flat / without bindings). The more piste-friendly Kore X skis feature a less complex core construction for a likely more budget-friendly end product. The Kore X 90 and 85 feature a full wood core and sandwich cap construction, while the narrower models have composite-wrapped wood cores and Head’s “Power Sidewall Jacket” construction; all feature their “Allride” rocker profiles and structured UHM C base.
Below is the full Kore X lineup:

2025-2026 Head Kaliber Boot Collection
Headlining Head’s new boot collection is their Kaliber series, which features models with upper and lower BOA closures.
In addition to the BOA dials and cables, the Kaliber boots feature a new bi-injection construction that’s meant to “ensure a better footwrap down to the toes, molding to the foot and maximizing BOA functionality.”

2025-2026 Head Kore 118 Ti
Here are our measured specs, rocker profile pictures, and flex pattern numbers for the new Head Kore 118 Ti.
Does the Kore Ti collection win the award for most layers in their construction? Dang! Head skis were always a non-starter for me because they were lighter than I prefer. But now they have my attention.
Did you ever ski the Monsters? Those were pretty heavy and very stable. Hoping these new skis are moving back in that direction
That would be the dream! Looking at the couple of weights mentioned and the amount of taper it doesn’t seem that way, but happy to be proved wrong
So does the Kore X series replace the Steadfasts then or……?
Steadfast is a Nordica ski. These are Head.
The skis are cool, but those new Attack colours looks fantastic!
I guess it will take a few years for dual boa systems in LV and in other flex’s (e.g., 120). On a tangent, I wish ski boots were offered with a LV high performance line with similar high performance liners, buckles etc, across all flex’s and a recreational model that is more geared to casual skiers.
