  1. ‘Representation matters’: why is it that non-whites always have to have someone with their skin colour to do anything? We’ve been told for years that it apparently doesn’t matter but when it comes to undeserved attention and money all of a sudden it does it seems.

    • Adam, if you listened to our conversation and you’re still confused about why ‘representation matters’ … then I doubt I can help you.

But if you haven’t listened to the conversation, I think you should. Among other reasons, there’s the whole thing about the health, relevance, and survival of winter sports.

  2. Benji I look forward to seeing how far you go. Back in 1978 a woman athlete hired me for the day to teach her how to ski. Having never skied before, but with her athletic ability, and her mind set, she didn’t become an intermediate skier that day, she achieved an advanced level. I never experienced that in my teaching career. My thought is, “Go For It!”
