  1. Andy Wirth, why does that name sound familiar… Oh, *that* Andy Wirth. Considering the long fight Sierra Watch had to keep Wirth, the guy who once said Tahoe had nothing to in the summer, from trashing the valley with massive developments, I’m guessing JT and Rob must not be friends. Interesting the way JT somewhat skirted the issue by just saying “he got a lot of stuff done.” The base to base gondola is a ridiculous waste they barely runs considering the high wind speeds common at the crest, and Alpine skiers want nothing to do with the union while Palisades skiers only go there when Palisades is shut for the day. Andy Wirth is despised by most locals save for a small minority, sad to hear JT is in that camp. I was curious about Peak but its an easy and *hard* pass.
