  1. Before you announce the location of 2026 Blister Summit .
Perhaps you should have a contest amongst Blister + members to guess the location.

Mid April is going to limit the list, as most resorts are closing in early April.

    My guess short list are:

Taos, the team has history there. But the closing date 2025 was April 9th ish.
Copper / Breckenridge they are big, both are in Colorado, and have lots of hotels, and they closed in May in 2025.
Utah: Solitutde, Snowbird, Brighton had May closing dates. Salt Lake airport to chairlift is probably pretty quick.
I can only hope and wish for California.
Mammoth was open through Memorial Day last year, with good skiing. But Mammoth is a bit more difficult to get to with either a 3hr drive Reno or 5hr drive LA
Palisades Tahoe, they were open in May last year as well. Very easy to get to 45 minutes from Reno to the parking on an Interstate. A good amount of housing with in the valley and multiple price points if tahoe city and truckee are included.

    My guess Drum rolll please…….

My guess (hope) is Palisades Tahoe :>)
