  1. Paul,
This is the best description of the Bibby Pro there is. It is not powder ski, it is wide charger. Anything soft, and those skis rip. I stop being hyped about untracked powder riding those, because it is more fun to ride chop on. 2013 edition, the best ever was.
    Thanks for this conversation.

  2. So Cody’s mum to review some books. Sounds like a good idea.
Could she summarise her best skis of the century and I need a recommendation for a mondo 30.5 hybrid boot, weighted to inbounds skiing, strong intermediate.
    Thanks. Looking forward to it

  3. Hi Paul, another one of these fun conversations between you and Jonathan :-). I’ve written this a couple of times already in the comment sections, hoping that you will see it one day.

I have a similar ski taste to yours, and I even have some Folsom skis because of you. Of course, a Rapture, which I also like a lot :-).

Knowing how much you love pow touring and are always interested in a lightweight wide pow ski, I really hope you see my message this time. I have a feeling your future favorite pow touring ski could be the Ronin 122. Jonno, the owner and mastermind of Ronin, shaped me a pair, and I am blown away by that thing. Like the Rapture, it is a full rocker ski, and my pow touring version comes in the following specs: True 188 length, 145-122-135, 25R, -8.75, 1680g. Since Jonno makes custom skis you can play around with the specs of course.

It skis amazingly in pow and is ridiculously light on the way up. I paired it with an ATK Freeraider 15 EVO and Pomoca Free Pro skins. If you want some pictures or more info on the skis, I am always happy to chat more about it here or in DM. Or simply reach out to Jonno.

The ski is not yet on his website, so it is one on the secret menue for now :-).

I have changed my visible name on Blister from miikisun to Michiel, my real name. Just in case you feel like looking for my earlier comment on the ski, where I wrote a bit more on how it performes.

Anyhow, thanks to you and Jonathan for the joy you bring with your fun conversations and great reviews. I hope that my comment guides you to another dream ski :-). Is that not what Blister is about?

  4. Pon2oon whites and black/green versions…hellbents 122mm, corvus v4, first and last cochise, last brahma, last ranger 102, og bibby, current solis, first Exit world…gimme that quiver (i own all those at least in one Version) and you are set wherever you might go no matter the conditions…
