  1. My DD is a Mantra M6 for all the reasons Dylan points out. But I was surprised that he finds the M7 ‘a little too demanding’. I thought the tweaks on the M7 were supposed to maintain performance but make it even more approachable. I’ve read that that the M7 shovel engages quicker, maybe it’s to hooky?

  2. I heard the Bibby gained even more weight lately…I really think the new 184 118 could be the ticket to heaven now cause I somehow sit between the 190 and 184 sizes @ 5’8″ 155lbs racing background, and don’t wanna mount my 184 116mm further back than -10mm ….whats the weight of the 184 now…? you guys measured the new 190 @ around 2375 grams heavy which gave me (heavy) instant boners…so the 184 should sit @ around 2250 to 2270 now which would dial up its versatility even more and could end the discussion which length/mounting point to get or the Rossi vs. Bibby discussion…sorrey Rossi, but the Bibby is everything you wanna be but even more versatile imho,…. Josh if you read this…I cannot believe you like your elan noodles…you should retire @moment, give the ski its proper name again (hipster names are not what we appreciate out of the moment bunker!,) save Jill’s soul from all of the demons she had to encounter, free Jack from duty and ride into the sunset somewhere on planet earth (AND FOR FUCK’S SAKE NOT IN SPACE , LOOKING AT YOU MOMENT DESIGNERS, IN SPACE THERE IS NOW FUKKEN POW!!!)
besides ugly moment space designs we’ll dig the ski forever though and by the way….especially here in the big Euro- resorts of Austria/ Italy etc the Bibby is the best universal shape to enjoy a day of freeriding WITHOUT the need for shitty cast bindings cause blowing up resort chop is like riding pow or even more fun sometimes on the bibbys WITHOUT trashing you legs and joints like the Rossi and maybe even more pop, fun and liveliness but almost the same plushness (or silentness) of the tips at high speeds !!!!

  3. Ok so I wouldn’t DD the regular Cham, but the Cham HM 107 was a good touring DD. I wouldn’t submit it for GOAT discussion though.

I still ski the Mythic 97 (not with pivots, LOL). It’s an excellent spring touring ski for the PNW where you can encounter many snow conditions in one day out. The huge tip splay is great for low tide conditions when you’re negotiating brush or sticks/logs, etc. It can rip turns in corn and it’s pleasantly damp for a sub 1500g ski. Mine are mounted at +1 and I think you could go even further forward depending on your preferences. I think like Luke might like them ok if he got on a pair!

  4. Hugely enjoyable series and loved hearing the various picks and the logic. Struck again by how often Line came up in the conversations, amazing for a smaller company (pre K2). I don‘t really feel qualified to comment given my ski nerdery really only started about 8 years ago so I just don‘t have the history. But hey why let small things like facts get in the way (have you been on social media??) – Head Monster 98 for all the reasons I have mentioned before; Fischer The Curv 72 for pure carving genius; Enforcer 100 and Fischer Ranger 102 FR for the reasons the various Blister folks have given; Moment Meridian and Wildcat (just feels great picking them up on any ski day); Völkl V-Werks Katana
Admittedly this is not really a best of, more just my personal favourites

And lastly, whilst I have loved this series, I will be sorely disappointed if there is no quiver series this year (as NashVegas98 mentions). Cannot live without my fix of people complaining that Blister reviewers are too small, too not skiing where i ski, too fat ski biased etc etc And love seeing the quiver picks of readers like Ben
