- Open the Apple Podcast App
- (if you’re on your phone, simply click this link)

- Click on the SHOW — *not* the specific episode
- Scroll down to “Ratings and Reviews”

How to Leave a Rating on Spotify
- Currently, you can only rate a podcast in the Spotify mobile app
- (if you’re on your phone, simply click this link)
- Navigate to the GEAR:30 show on Spotify (not to a specific episode)
- Tap the star icon underneath the podcast description and if you like the show, leave a 5-star rating

Today we are talking about love, materials science, and ski construction. More specifically, we’re going to be looking at graphene, and why you might soon be hearing more about it in skis in the near future. Our guests are Haley and Kevin Keith, the founders of Mito Materials, and you’ll hear them explain their journey into the ski industry, the unique properties of their functionalized graphene material, and … you aren’t just going to have to take their word for it. Haley and Kevin’s approach that graphene is a spice to add to existing recipes should appeal to the ski and snow board R&D teams. Parlor and Folsom are the right chef’s to be taking the lead with this new spice – they understand that low weight/brute strength is not a goal in and of itself.
Hopefully the snow conditions at the Blister Summit will be less than perfect and will bring out the best and worst in the skis which are tested.
It’s seem’s that additional torsional strength without added weight would be very attractive to snow boarders. Jonathan, best wishes with your snow board foray….
