Crankworx: Day 9, Canadian Open DH

After nine days of events featuring the world’s best riders, Crankworx came to end Sunday night with the Canadian Open Downhill, a technical descent demanding focus and precision. Adding to the challenge were the half naked, rowdy fans. Half party, half bike race, riders had one timed run for a shot at the $10,000 first prize.

Canadian Steve Smith broke the three-minute mark, finish in 2:44.80 to take first place, sweep all three DH events, and be crowned King of Crankworx.
