David Golay reviews the Orbea Rallon for Blister

2026 Orbea Rallon

FMD Racing unveiled the prototype Orbea that they’ve been racing on at the Bielsko-Biala DH World Cup last weekend, and it turns out that it’s the new Rallon — historically Orbea’s Enduro bike. The new version is meant to fill double duty as both a DH and Enduro rig, with a big range of adjustments to suit, and looks to be a massive departure from the Rallon of old. Check it all out here.
Revel Bikes is Back

Revel Bikes is Back

Revel Bikes announced their impending closure a month ago, but founder Adam Miller swept in and bought the brand back from the group he sold it to in 2021, with plans to resume regular operations, including full warranty support and production of their newly-launched models.
David Golay reviews the Geometron G1 for Blister

2025 Nicolai / Geometron G1

Geometron arguably did more than anyone else to spur on the geometry revolution that mountain bikes underwent over the last decade or so. Their second-generation G1 doesn’t appear to be as radical as the original one in some respects, but it’s a more refined, modern take on an aggressive, ultra-adjustable Enduro bike.

David Golay reviews the Öhlins RXF36 m.3 for Blister

Flash Review: Öhlins RXF36 m.3

The changes Öhlins made to the latest m.3 generation RXF36 look more like subtle refinements than a major overhaul on paper, but small tweaks can make a big difference when it comes to suspension performance. Check out how our time with the RXF36 m.3 is going so far.
David Golay reviews the Enve M6 Wheels for Blister

Enve M6 Wheels

Enve’s flagship M-Series wheels have historically been quite stiff — arguably to a fault — but their latest fifth-generation versions are claimed to be far more compliant and more durable. Here’s what we’ve found after seven months on the Trail-oriented M6 wheels.
David Golay reviews the Trickstuff Maxima Brakes for Blister

Flash Review: Trickstuff Maxima Brakes

The name of the Trickstuff Maxima brakes gives a good idea of what they’re about, at least on paper: big power, big bling, and a pricetag to match. We’ve started spending time on Trickstuff’s most powerful, gravity-oriented brake to see if they deliver.

Outlier MTB on Product Design, Founding a Company, & Their Wild Looking Flat Pedals (Ep.271)

Making a flat pedal design stand out is hard — especially in a manner that brings real performance changes vs. just aesthetic ones — but Outlier has done so twice with their Void and Pendulum pedals. Hear all about the concepts, the prototyping process, founding a company on products that truly are, well, Outliers, and a whole lot more.
