  1. Thanks for the shop shout out. I had some good hours with Greg, and ideas and thoughts were flying from left to the right.
    Great podcast as always. Guess I have to re-listen it and come back with some more substantial notes and comments. A lot to say on the boot and packaging front. One thing I can say so far, the season is still young, but all our BOA boots are sold out, we had a lot and nothing broke so far. I managed to get mine loose last season, it was easy to put it back on, biggest problem was my own lack of flexibility in my hip to get down to my boot in an esthetic way

  2. Soft forward flex: I’m 6’5″, 230 lbs, and I can drive a Bodacious 196 really fast down bumpy runs in a Full Tilt Classic with a soft-ish tongue. I can’t flex a 130 boot for shit–especially an upright one–and not being able to absorb bumps is such a bummer. I’m married though–dudes who still need to attract a mate should still probably ski a 130-flex boot and set their DIN to 18.

  3. That came off a little harsh. Obviously, there’s a place for stiff boots in racing–and for days when you feel like “going carving.”
