Gelato: Alberto & Julia Bati of My Sugar Gelato Artigianale, Firenze, Italia (Ep.14)

What is the meaning of life? The answer might be ‘To go have artisanal gelato in Italy.’ And this past June, I stumbled across a gelateria in Firenze (Florence) Italy, that might not have revealed the meaning of life, but it definitely changed my life. Because after going there every day — usually twice a day — I knew that I would have to come back to Florence and sit down for a CRAFTED conversation with Alberto and Julia Bati, owners of My Sugar Gelato Artigianale, to talk about the craft (and the hard work) of making some of the best gelato in the world. And that’s exactly what I did this week, back in one of my favorite cities in the world.
