We’re back on snow! And testing gear! And excited to talk about it! Jonathan and I cover several of the standout skis so far; I also confess to one of the dumbest things he’s ever done on skis; they discuss underappreciated upsides of early-season skiing; some interesting new outerwear and gloves; and more.

Yes, the team is back on snow!!!
I don’t know if soft shell (touring) pants are in short supply, but I sure enjoy the møre flex1 Bibs from Norrona and their (older) lyngen flex1 pants (for resort skiing, touring and dog walking). It’s possible that they are different now as they are advertised as “flex1 light” and my experience is limited to the approx. 3 year old flex 1.
It would be interesting if you were to try the RAIDE Tourtech bib.
Have fun!
Ortovox make softshell touring pants I think.
I tried the Arcade 94 back in March and agree, end of day chopped up pistes and it‘s a lot of fun. Took it into some off piste and did better than expected, but would not buy it for that either. Hope to try the 88 this season at some point
