Good conversation. One thing this podcast likely (had to be) left out is his support system. Likely many retire because of family. The same with most sports/politicians/actors. For every famous person around 30, there has to be a not-famous person cooking dinner and paying the bills. Add in kids, and the the show gets complicated. So he’s not just good at biking, he likely has a supportive other he works closely with to allow him the space and opportunity to do what he is doing. It’s not even football or a regional sport team that stays in the US. This guy obviously is hopping around the globe. That cannot be easy. He’s probably more like a rock band, an endlessly traveling show.
