I sat down with Katy Jackson, co-founder and CEO of our Blister Recommended Shop, Lone Pine Gear Exchange, to understand the logistics of running a robust consignment program; how to shop for and sell used gear; the importance of consignment for both accessibility and sustainability in outdoor recreation; gear repair; planting trees; how living off-grid led her and her husband to where they are today; and a whole lot more.

Great shop, found some good deals. And the repair service repaired the zipper on my bib in a rush job.
A nice history of Lone Pine and it’s owners. I have been a customer of Lone Pine and it’s predecessor Second Tracks from the beginning. Enjoyed listening to the history of the store and especially the background of the owners. The shop continues to evolve EG all consigned ski equipment is now searchable online which is a great convenience. I have had several items of ski clothing repaired & am now using it again. Overall a great shop which is getting better.
