Zack Henderson and I sat down to chat about a ton of the new gear we’re currently testing, including bikes across the travel spectrum, some suspension products, and a bunch more. Plus we dive into the merits of active chain devices and talk about our early impressions of the Rimpact Chain Damper and how it stacks up against an Ochain.

I just got the Pendulum pedals in, but our riding season doesn’t start for a long time.
What you are describing should be a prefect match for me:
I switched to the 2FO DH shoes last year, because the softer shoes were tiring my feet too much. But, I felt a bit tippy on the pedals with them sometimes, and it was a bit harder to maintain grip on the pedals.
I’m also tall, and ride an S6 Stumpy Evo. I run the chainstays in the low setting, to get the longer chainstay length to balance the long front of this big size. That made the bb so low, combined with the giant wheelbase, that I put the WRP mullet yoke on with my 29er rear wheel, and a taller fork, to lift the BB up.
All that to say, my BB is now a bit on the high side, so lowering my CoG similar to a lower BB will be good.
I also find the stack too low, so anything that effectively raises that will be great.
I’ll be curious to hear how you get along with them!
