Me: this perfect boot is useless because my liner is slightly packed out. That’s why I suck today.
Hadley: hold my beer
Completely agreed with Hadley about queens gambit sucking big time. As well as the rest of the smart things she said.
Hadley,
Atomic makes a 21 size boot in some models, which they say is womens size 4. Don’t be afraid of a race boot, if that what fits you, it will ski well for you. It can always be made softer. Another comment, if the boot has a foamed liner, aka Atomic Professional series, you can get away with slightly larger boot if you have too. I am sure you have a lot of experience, and I am probably preaching to the choir.
PREACH Hadley, well said! Boot companies and SKI companies please make more gear for fun sized ladies . I am 5 feet (my family laughs at that measurement too Hadley), 110 pounds, size 22-22.5 boot. The options for a strong in bounds skier, not to mention touring, is ridiculously limited. For 27/30 years of skiing, I skied on too big boots. Having well fitting boots for in bounds and touring should be an option for all, despite their build! Thank you for providing a platform for Hadley’s message.
