What Heritage Lab says about the AM100:

“THE MASTER OF ALL TRADES

Never settle. The AM100 brings HL's unique spin on a modern freeride ski to a more playful shape than the FL105. A subtle camber pocket adds to the smooth ride and clean edge precision. Carefully crafted rocker lines bring a loose ride in untracked snow and deliver plenty of confidence in crud and variable snow. These skis strike the perfect balance between Slash and Charge.

  • 7cm tip height and 4cm tail height ensure a surfy yet engaged ride overall, with a low 1.5mm camber pocket that ensures clean edge purchase with a balanced and intuitive off-edge feel in variable and challenging snow conditions.
  • Ski has a huge sweet spot and suits many ski styles
  • Mid-stiff flex pattern (8 out of 10 stiffness)
  • Bomber UHMW sidewalls
  • Ultra-smooth fiberglass layup and full-width VDS Rubber
  • Bamboo / Poplar wood core
  • Extra hard and fast black race base for enhanced wax absorption and reduced electrostatic drag
  • Now delivering with your choice of ski prep options:
    • Elite Factory Tune and cold temp training wax (no cost)
    • Model-specific edge shaping and race wax ($99)
    • Model-specific edge shaping and Phantom Base Treatment ($189)
Developed with HL's new "AM" rocker profile, featuring a low camber pocket, deep rocker lines, and a modern mount point, this ski is optimized to bring peak maneuverability and playfulness to a narrower waist width.”

Flex Pattern

Here’s how we’d characterize the flex pattern of the AM100:

Tips: 7.5
Shovels: 7.5-8
In Front of Toe Piece: 8.5-10
Underfoot: 10
Behind the Heel Piece: 9.5-9
Tails: 8.5-7.5

Weight (and Comparisons)

Our 187 cm AM100 weighs about 2300 grams per ski. Compared to other stable all-mountain skis, this places the AM100 on the heavier end of its class.

For reference, here are some of our measured weights (per ski in grams) for some notable skis. As always, keep in mind the length and width differences to try to keep things more apples-to-apples.
